These changes necessitate additional data, tailored to the nature of the sender and recipient.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/create-account\"> Get Low-Cost Shipping Rates With World Options <\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Key Updates for All Senders:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Goods Description:<\/strong> A plain English description is required for each item in the shipment, alongside its weight, value, and origin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Business to Business (B2B) Shipments:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For businesses, extra information will be needed, and immediate action is advised. The shipment routes are categorised into &#8216;green&#8217; and &#8216;red&#8217; lanes as outlined below:<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Green Lane Shipments:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Criteria:<\/strong> For B2B goods destined to remain in Northern Ireland, classified under the UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Action Required:<\/strong> Obtain and register for a UKIMS number with the UK Government.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Information Needed:<\/strong> The sender or recipient\u2019s UKIMS number must be provided, with the holder being declared as the importer of record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For ease, apply for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/apply-for-authorisation-for-the-uk-internal-market-scheme-if-you-bring-goods-into-northern-ireland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UKIMS number<\/a> here.
